In this first period I had work on the base of JMultimedia, flowing Joomla! Standards, no functionality was added, The name was defined as JMultimedia Suite it will integrate many multimedia extensions together, I had studied the new MVC framework and joomla API deeper and used building component basic classes for development, improved denVideo and published on SVN.

1st. Milestone - Accomplished goals:

• JMultimedia tables had been created:
  • #__jmultimedia: the media items table.
  • #__jmultimedia_rating: hold the rating records of items
  • #__jmultimedia_comments: hold all media item comments
• Instation XML: instaltion file created.
• Back-end basic classes
• Front-end basic classes
• Link to default categories component.
• refactory and improve denVideo plg.
• Fix some (many) bugs
• publish the component on SVN.
