Some preliminary work that I would welcome people to test is here;

https://github.com/elinw/joomla-cms/compare/contentplugins
https://github.com/elinw/joomla-cms/compare/contentplugins.diff

I am aware that the pagination plugin doesn't do what it is supposed to do but I think this does address the within body issues.

Elin, tested your patch, but still not change result of com_finder and still show "{loadmodule articles_archive,Archived Articles}" on my tests.

@test
Call to content plugins are now working here for articles displayed via a "Tags Items" menu item.

Elin, I just used your preliminary lines in your diff and it works. Your changes in view.html.php obviously triggered my plugin, it's weird that the pagination component needs an update but I'm not complaining - your patch works.

Awesome work on the tags component, without it I may not have been able to use Joomla for my current project, or not nearly as efficiently!

Thanks Jacob.
Since there are two good tests let's assume that the finder issue is separate and due to problems it has with certain plugins. THis patch just addresses tags.
