I saw a Joomla SQL Injection reported at securityFocus which I couldn't find in the tracker, so I'm posting the URL of the SecurityFocus report for the details

This is rated as medium priority? I'd hate to see what people consider to be high priority! Maybe I'm biased, but I think security ought to be a top concern. :-)

This is not an issue because it is based on an incorrect understanding of joomla! architecture.

I have been unable to replicate any of the exploits reported in the SecurityFocus article using the RC3 download on a clean installation.
