Since its initial stable release in December 2013, the Joomla Framework has steadily grown to better suit the needs of the Joomla ecosystem, providing the backbone of Joomla installations worldwide. The work that has been done on this small portion of the Joomla codebase has been extraordinary and lays the framework for an even more powerful Joomla 4.0 release.
